Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how hugoifier.ai ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
- GitHub account data: When you sign in with GitHub we receive your GitHub
username, user ID, public email (if any), and an OAuth access token scoped to
repo workflow user:email. This token is used solely to create and push to GitHub repositories on your behalf. - Usage data: Conversion job details including the source URL you submit, job status, cost, and the GitHub repository we create for you.
- Payment data: Stripe processes all payments. We store only the Stripe session ID and the amount deposited. We never see or store your full card number.
- Analytics: We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the site (session replays, heatmaps). Clarity may collect anonymized usage data. See Clarity's privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Execute conversion jobs you submit
- Push output files to GitHub repositories on your behalf
- Process payments and maintain your credit balance
- Improve the Service and troubleshoot issues
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- GitHub — to push code to repositories you authorize
- Stripe — to process payments
- Cloudflare — for infrastructure (Workers, D1, R2); data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure under their data processing addendum
- Microsoft Clarity — for anonymized analytics
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Job records are retained indefinitely for billing and support purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@hugoifier.ai.
5. Security
We store OAuth tokens encrypted at rest in Cloudflare D1. Sessions use HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookies. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely through GitHub OAuth.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hugoifier.ai.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
